Magic Mike star Channing Tatum is expecting a baby with his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
A rep for the couple said they were "pleased to announce that they are expecting the birth of their first child next year”.
When interviewed for People magazine after winning its Sexiest Man Alive crown, Channing confessed he was keen to be a father. “I’m ready; I think she’s ready," he said. "The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we’ll see where we go after that.”
"It was a total surprise," an insider told US magazine, adding that Tatum, 32, is taking a full year off to be with Jenna and their baby.
Michael Douglas's son attacked in jail
Cameron Douglas, who is currently serving a nine-and-a-half year prison sentence, is recovering from a broken leg and finger after a New York crime boss reportedly put a $100 bounty on his head.
The Huffington Post reports: "According to the New York Post, the hit is thought to be some form of payback for Douglas being a "rat," a title he may have earned after his psychiatrist accidentally revealed Cameron once testified against his drug suppliers.
“He broke his femur, which is hard to snap, and had to have a rod inserted,” an anonymous source told the Post. “He told health services staff that he hurt them playing handball. You don’t break a femur playing handball.”
"Douglas is imprisoned for charges related to smuggling and selling drugs, including methamphetamine, heroin and prescription narcotics. The sentence was originally only five years, which increased after the troubled actor got caught smuggling heroin into prison."
